August Evangelism

What a vibrant time Portland is in the Summer! While people were out enjoying their day and walking the streets, we enjoyed the connections we made with people and the hope provided through the gospel. Portland truly is beautiful!

During the month of August our team took our vision to the streets and ministered to folks in downtown Portland. We are overjoyed at the response - as at least 5 individuals called on the Lord to save them.

Along with making contacts, our team was able to narrow the scope of our desired place to minister in the city. Through a combination of people’s responsiveness, pedestrian traffic, and a lack of churches, we decided upon the Pearl District of NW Portland. Praise God for further direction! We look forward to making more intentional steps towards meeting in that area soon.

We look forward to another trip! We’re planning to be back in early November to follow up with the people we’ve met, do more evangelism on the street, and hopefully have a worship service somewhere nearby. Pray for us. And pray for Portland.
