How it Got Started
Portland is one of the most spiritually disconnected cities in America—most residents rarely attend church, and nearly half claim no faith at all. Project Portland began to change that story by reaching the unreached and planting seeds of hope.
What started as a simple vision grew into a movement: believers meeting people where they are, sharing the Good News, and building authentic community in Northwest Portland.
We Planted
a church
Project Portland began with a vision to plant a church in one of the most spiritually disconnected cities in America. By God’s grace, that vision has become Portland Gospel—a growing church committed to reaching Portland with the hope of Jesus.
But the work isn’t done. We exist to help people believe, live, and share the gospel, and we need your continued prayers and support to keep building this movement.

Each episode reflects on what we’ve learned along the way—the moments we’ve been humbled, the victories we’ve celebrated, and the ways God continues to shape the mission.
